… and forgot to write a blog post about it (until now!)

We’ve been so busy launching Web3 Academy, filling cohorts, and working with amazing students that… well, we forgot to write the official blog post. Better late than never, right? 😅So here it is: the story of how AIN, together with Mighty Study, set out to bring intensive, hands-on blockchain education to developers and students—and how we accidentally filled four cohorts before even announcing some of them.
What Is Web3 Academy?
Web3 Academy is an educational hub for experienced developers and university students looking to go beyond the basics and deepen their expertise in blockchain and decentralized technologies. To build and strengthen this community, we’re planning a series of workshops, hackathons, and interactive events that encourage collaboration and help students apply their skills in real-world settings.
We started with Cohort #1 on April 1st, with our flagship course—the Ethereum Mastery Program—a deep and intensive journey through Ethereum, smart contract development, DeFi, and Web3 fundamentals. The program ends with a hands-on project week in collaboration with Lido, one of the leading Ethereum staking protocols.
Learning takes place in live, online sessions, where students engage directly with lecturers and dive deep into the course content. After each session, participants head to the Mighty Study, a gamified learning platform where they can test their knowledge and track their progress. The same tests used by enrolled students are publicly accessible, so anyone interested can challenge themselves and get a real taste of the program.

To ensure quality and dedication, only students who meet the program’s criteria will receive a digital Web3 Academy certificate upon successful completion. In addition, for completing tests on the Mighty platform, students will earn a Mighty Study NFT, showcasing their accomplishments and skills in the Web3 space.
How’s It Going?
Pretty amazing, actually. Our first four cohorts were completely free, thanks to generous sponsorship from Lido and Daedalus. We launched quietly and filled them quickly.
Then, thanks to our new collaboration with Singidunum University and Center Win, we opened up Cohorts #3 and #4 exclusively for students through their institutions. Those also filled up almost immediately, so fast that we didn’t even get the chance to publicly announce them before they were full.
What’s Next?
While the first four cohorts were completely free, thanks to the generous support of our sponsors and academic partners, we want to be transparent about the future. Web3 Academy will eventually transition to a paid model, though we haven’t set a timeline yet. For now, we’re focused on refining the program, supporting our current students, and growing the community. We’ll make sure to give everyone plenty of notice once pricing details are confirmed.
We’re now preparing Cohort #5, which will likely launch in June 2025, but we are not promising anything yet. Registration is currently closed, but we’ll keep everyone updated across our channels once we’re ready to go.

Big thanks to all our partners, students, and sponsors. You’ve made Web3 Academy real. 🙌
